I almost didn’t like this show because the jokes aren’t punctuated by cued live-studio audience laughter. The awkward silence there turned me off a bit. However I really love the movies, the storyline and Tasha so I decided to stick with it and I’m glad I did. The show provides a look into black love that we don’t see at all on television. Black families on network television replicate the picture perfect quality of The Huxtables, when in truch, it ain’t always pretty.
